Mum's horror after daughter, 27, was shot by

husband who stole piece of her brainA mum has recalled how her daughter was murdered by her abusive partner who stole part of her brain before taking her dead body to hospital. Leslie Browning, from Texas, is still heartbroken over the gruesome killing of Alicia Scott who was shot in the head by her controlling husband Daniel in 2017. The pair were wed in October 2004 when Alicia was just 16 years old after a brief courtship. Leslie says she strongly disapproved of the marriage and initially refused to give permission to the union - which subsequently caused the family to fall out. The blast blew a huge hole in the back of Alicias head. Daniel then threw her over his shoulder and took her to hospital but not before taking a part of her brain. Leslie said her familys lives were shattered forever after hearing the tragic news. She told the Sun : I couldn’t stop screaming. I thought my heart was going to break in half, the pain was so bad. So even in death, Daniel had to keep a piece of his wife, said Leslie. Detectives thankfully saw through Daniels lies and charged him with the murder of his long-suffering wife. In March 2018, he was found guilty of Alicia’s murder and he was sentenced to 70 years in jail follo
