Wake up and see the coffee! Talented Mike Breach creates 'baristart' by drawing famous faces in cappuccinoSkinny latte with a shot of Al Pacino. This is an order you can expect to give to Mike Breach, a coffee artist who turns Leonardo DiCaprio into Leonardo DiCappuccino. The 29-year-old New Yorker creates w

orld famous faces in popular coffee drinks, a

skill he dubs as “baristart”. While

your regular bari

sta will just pop the froth on top of your cappuccino, Mike transforms it into a variety of faces, including Al Cap-puccino, a William Shakespear

e rendition he calls Foameo and Juliet, and a Kurt Cobain face he calls Kurt Cobean. I starte

d doing this originally for myself, because it was just fun, Mike said. I kept doing it because I noticed the reactions of everybody, and how happy it made them. He creates the images by using a toothpick to stroke the coffee cream through the milk foam. Ea

ch portrait takes about five minutes. Mikes first portrait was of Kiss singer Gene Simmons,

which was hatched from a simple heart design. Marilyn Monroe, Star Trek character Spock, and Robocop-acci

no are now all part of the baristas repertoire. Mike also creates famous

icons like Jaws and the Manhattan skyline. He said: A favourite cappuccino of people watching me work is the John Lennon portrait. Its one of the simpler ones to do when Im put on the spot. The idea for baristart c
